Job Summary:

Harlow Playhouse is recruiting a Lighting Technician to be part of the technical team assisting in the backstage responsibilities of running this lively venue. The emphasis of this role is towards all aspects of Lighting to support our varied programme.

Responsible to the Technical Manager, duties will include maintaining backstage areas and equipment, operating lighting and sound, liaising with incoming companies and organisations, assisting get-ins and get-outs and the smooth running of performances. This is a key role in the venue and a great opportunity for candidates to work in a creative and diverse presenting house with a wide-ranging programme.

Knowledge of technical theatre is required for this role and the ideal candidate will have experience programming EOS family consoles and be able to rig, cable and focus lanterns.

Salary and Hours

£27,916 - £28,888 per annum

37.5 hours per week
