In more practical terms, we are a development agency that invests public money to ensure that everyone has access to this. We also conduct research, offer advice, promote partnerships and collaborations, encourage new ways of working and support emerging established talent.
What we do
We employ talented people to help us to support arts, museums and libraries through our funding, as well as providing other services to support their development. We support; Theatre, Music, Museums, Literature, Libraries, Dance, Combined arts and Collections & other cultural assets. In order to do this we employ over 500 people across nine different office locations across England in arts based roles or in one of our corporate services department such as; IT, Finance, HR, Governance and Advocacy & Comms.
We believe that our staff should represent the communities, organisations and individuals that we work with and support. We want people from all walks of life to contribute to our work and share their experiences, expertise and passion.
