Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking applications for a full-time, experienced Sound No. 4 to work on the London production of STRANGER THINGS: THE FIRST SHADOW. Written by Kate Trefry, an original story by the Duffer Brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, directed by Stephen Daldry, co-directed by Justin Martin for the Phoenix Theatre and produced by Netflix and Sonia Friedman Productions – this new play officially opened in the West End in December 2023. Duties and responsibilities will be those normally expected of a Sound No.4 on a first-class West End production. Candidates will require relevant hands-on professional experience in sound, the ability to work under pressure and within a team and good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organisational and time management qualities to ensure that the production runs efficiently and smoothly and the sound design is maintained. Job Location: West End London Contract Type: Fixed term until January 2025, then the contract will be rolling. Salary: Weekly rate as per SOLT/BECTU Agreement.
